Term Life Insurance

This coverage is typically for a period of 10, 15, 20, or 30 years. Term life insurance is simple to obtain and purchase, and it is typically less expensive than permanent whole or universal life insurance. However, once your term expires, you are no longer protected; you must either apply for a new policy at a higher cost (due to your age) or go without. However, many term policies (including those offered by Alcon Insurance Services) may allow you to convert to a permanent policy. You may also obtain a policy at a lower group rate through your employer.
